Co-founder, Connected Data James co-founded Connected Data in 2016 having discovered the wonderful world of graphs, ontologies and related innovations around 2010. He uses these technologies on a daily basis in his consultancy work as CEO of Neural Alpha - a sustainability focused consultancy leveraging Connected Data tech.

As CEO of Neural Alpha James' day job involves helping clients through bespoke software and data consultancy to leverage Knowledge Graphs and allied technologies to tackle many of the worlds most pressing challenges such as financial crime, supply chain due diligence, ESG investing and responsible lending.
Before Connected Data and Neural Alpha James spent his career leading complex data strategies and technology projects for many of the world's largest Banks, Investment Managers and Governments. This spanned roles at HSBC, Commerzbank, Fidelity and HMRC amongst others. Prior to becoming a consultant James was Global Head of Data at Man Group plc - one of the world's largest and most innovative hedge funds.
